letter of the week: UniverCity?

I have some thoughts on the selection of "Univercity" for the name of the SFU residential development:

1) The university may be ridiculed for not being able to spell,

2) The name flies in the face of the character and form of the community which you are working to create. You talk about a "village" atmosphere - and then name it a "...city." At a built-out population of 10,000, it will never be a city.

3) Finally, the name has the warmth and appeal of words like "robot" and "radar."
