On "Journal of a Journey"

I feel obligated to comment on Kelly Hammond's opinion ["On hatin' this paper," October 10, 2005] on Debby Reis' weekly accounts of her European trip.
Debby's stories make The Peak more interesting. She is not trying to be another Lonely Planet or any sort of "cheap guide to Europe." She is just telling her story. She is not bragging, that is for sure. Yes, there is not much humour or explanation, but it is still a good narrative. It is different from everything else. And she manages well to show the atmosphere of each city.
Kelly, if somebody's fortune makes you frustrated and miserable - that's another issue.
The only suggestion I can make to Debby is to show us more photos! Thanks for sharing.
