Portrait of a slanderer

There are two type of slanderers at SFU: The gold-digger- slanderer whose motivations are obvious. And the low-self- esteem-slanderer who slanders because of shattered self- image and deficient self-esteem. The latter is also hypocritical, manipulative, and desperately longs for your attention. But when you give them your attention, then they get off by criticizing and mouthing you or other people right on your face. When slanderers move from sarcasms to defamation proportions, they create legal problems for many (including tax-payers and themselves). Therefore you should protect yourself from slanderers and here is how:

1) Recognize the following: "I've heard that...somebody told me...trust me..." or rhetorical questions such as: "isn't it true that ... don't you think so?" followed by vituperous words putting you, or any third persons, down.

2) When you hear these words, tell the slanderer to fuck off right on their sorry face (you mustn't consent to hear their excremental conversations).

3) If they unsupportedly accuse you (or any third person) of sexual misconduct (et cetera) then challenge them by demanding physical evidence to support their falsities.

4) And if the slanderer insists on vituperating you (or any third persons) wherever they see you, then carry a tape- recorder, consult a good lawyer, and ultimately contact the RCMP (a.s.a.p.!).

5) Also carry tongue-trimming-scissors and insecticide to eliminate the mouthing scum-bug. Hopefully, our pro tem president won't tolerate slanderers because we've had enough of those on campus. The tongue was created to savour food and to enable speech; and not to destroy peoples' lives. Harassment policy must consider slandering a very serious form of harassment punished by termination or de- registration. And slandering should not be left to be resolved between the slanderer and their victim, even if they had a relationship of any sort, comprende?
